Eco-Friendly Solid Tires manufacturing mainly comes with the main intention of saving the mother earth from further damages. Producing one by using, used and rejected raw materials comes with few primary issues: maintaining its usage period; overheating; wear and tear. Infusing Graphene into the solid tire compound has shown improvement in many areas as stated in the primary issues.
This is a collaborative project between B2B Rubber Industries Sdn Bhd and NanoMalaysia Berhad.
- With the enhanced rubber waste tire compound using graphene, it is expected to perform 1.5 times better than the virgin tires, yet, last longer with high abrasion rate.
- Producing tires that achieve 10% improvement in compression set and high tensile strength while being 30% cheaper than conventional tires.
